Buffet breakfast in Tokyo Prince Hotel

Property building in Tokyo Prince Hotel
Good location. Rooms are decorated as in the photos. We did not rent room with breakfast and went instead every day to nearby large coffee place Le Pain Quotidien, 30meters away. Excellent service. Lawson shop (like 7-11) in hotel basement At evening, Go to bar 33th floor of Prince Hotel opposite Tokyo tower (5min walk), to enjoy views Tip: if travelling to other cities after Tokyo, book the luggage transfer facility to your next hotel. Book 24h before departure. Cost circa 2000 Yen per luggage. Very efficient service and convenient. It will allow to travel light.

We have used this hotel a couple of dozen times over the last 20+ years. We like its atmosphere, its location, its large and attractive lobby, the choice of restaurants and the large bedrooms (30 M2). We fully agree with the caption written on the signboard found at the entrance of the hotel "Timeless Nostalgia". Indeed when living in Tokyo back in the 70ties and 80ties, we regularly visited the hotel including its well known shopping arcade Pisa which unfortunately since closed down. We plan to continue patronising it in the the coming years.

Location, location, location. Close to several attractions, close to subways, good clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. This was one of the most elaborate buffets we saw during our trip which also had the best description of the ingredients used in the food (we are vegetarians, so this is very important). taxi available at the front door and the Airport Limo bus comes to this hotel. The view of the Tokyo tower from the high floor room was a real treat

Neel

The rooms are very large in comparison to the smaller spaces commonly available in Tokyo. The rooms on the 11th floor where we stayed for a week, were very clean and modern. There is a convenient store on the first basement floor. The large pool was a plus given the heat in summer. The personnel were very professional and helpful. The location was superb; few minutes walk to the nearest train station. Shops and restaurants located a 10/15 minute walk.

Jackie

We were traveling as a family and booked a suite to accommodate everyone. The room felt a bit dated but it was spacious - massive by Tokyo standards. The hotel has a bunch of restaurants of all different types, but we didn't have a chance to sample any of them. Ended up happily eating all kinds of interesting things from the Lawson's convenience store in the basement, which also came in clutch for diapers, toiletries, etc.
